Infection 7 months post-rhinoplasty - thoughts?

If there is no external redness or swelling on your nose, this may not be a skin infection. Sometimes common after turbinate reduction, some people experience inspisated nasal mucus, and sometimes this can have a bad aroma. Most postoperative infections typically happen about a week after surgery.
Delayed infections are possible.
Infections that don’t clear with the use of antibiotics may have an underlying ideology or cause that needs to be treated.
This can include an infected fluid collection or exposed or contaminated Cartlidge or sutures.
The nose has a very rich blood supply and is usually well protected from developing infections, but once they happen, they need to be treated aggressively.
If you have confidence in your provider, then continue following up with your current doctors.
It’s not clear from your description if the Doctor Who did your surgery Is managing the infection.
I’m assuming your doctor did an in nasal exam to make sure there isn’t any exposed cartilage.
With limited information, we can’t make quality assessment and therefore not give you good guidance in regards to treatment options.
If you feel like you’re in the hands of a qualified provider, then continue getting their care.
