Menopause per say does not increase the chances of having complications after abdominoplasty. Please discuss this with your plastic surgeon before surgery. In my practice, most patients lose 15 to 25 pounds after a lateral tension abdominoplasty which addressed your weight goal. Best of luck. 

This should not hinder you proceeding with a tummy tuck. In my practice we require that patients stop hormones 2 weeks prior to surgery to lower the risks of blot clots.

I don't think being in menopause should affect your tummy tuck result.  However, if you are on hormone replacement I carefully monitor this and have patients stop the medication 2 weeks prior to surgery to limit risk of blood clots in the legs.  In general, being in good health and having a  BMI of at least 29 or less is recommended.

The menopause should have no effect. You need to check out your BMI --- it should be below 30 to have a good result from a tummy tuck. By far, weight and your general medical health are the most important factors in having a speedy recovery.
