Depending on the technique the doctor is using, some patients may have a few hours of discomfort following the chin augmentation with fillers where the skin and tissues underneath are being stretched. Thank you for your question. Yes, this can be completely normal. The pain / ache should subside in a day or two, where the bruising and / or swelling can last up to 7-14 days, depending. If the pain suddenly worsens, or doesn't improve with Tylenol or Motrin, then I would suggest going back to your injector be evaluated. Best of luck! 

Some tenderness is not uncommon.  It should be relieved with over the counter pain medicine such as Tylenol.  If it doesn't improve within the next few days return to your injector for an evaluation.
