Treatment for chin dimpling ("pebble chin" or "orange peel") is Botox injected into the mentalis muscle. This typically gives great improvement to the appearance of the chin. Results take about 1 to 2 weeks. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
I use a combination of Botox and Fillers to treat a pebbled or orange peel chin. Restylane Lyft and Voluma can work well in this area. It's more about skill of injector than choice of filler. Lasers/Microneedling can help improve skin texture issues in the area. Make sure you see an experienced physician provider for an in-person consultation and evaluation. Best wishes.
I would start by treating the chin with a hyaluronic acid based filler such as Restylane Lyft. This will help improve chin volume, definition and projection. After this, I would injected Botox or Dysport into the chin muscle (mentalis) which will reduce dimpling of chin. The combination of filler and Botox/Dysport should give you a nice result.
Hi, great photos! I would treat the chin dimpling/pebbling with Botox/Dysport. Average dose range would be from 5-8 units. I would also add volume to the chin and pre jowl area (next to the chin on each side). Fillers I use in this area include Restylane Lyft, Radiesse, or in select patients, Bellafill. Find an experienced specialist injector for this area.
Micro doses of Botox (relaxes muscles) may improve the dimpling and filler (increases volume) will improve the recessed appearance. Both of these treatment options are temporary and will need to be continued to maintain the result. The Botox would need to be done every 3-4 months on average. I like using Radiesse filler the best for the chin--1 syringe would likely improve it, possibly 2--this filler lasts an average of 8-9 months or so. A more permanent solution would be insertion of a silicone chin implant. Best of luck!
Without in person examination my over term internet gets option is a lipo of can or 2 sessions of KyBella, micro Botox sub dermal to chin 2 sessions, and jaw/chin Y Lift Fee $8,000 of all sessions in total.
Thank you for sharing your question. What you are describing does not sound like necrosis. Usually there is prominent discoloration associated with substantial pain. See your doctor to be safe. Fortunately, Restylane can be dissolved if there’s an issue. Good luck,
Of course, there is a limit to any procedure, but in general chin filler is very successful in moving the chin forward. The best product in my opinion is Restylane Lyft due to its firm consistency. It is an HA filler and therefore also reversible if the result is not desireable...
Just 1 mL of Voluma is not going to make such a huge difference that people will know that you’ve augmented your chin — unless they were hyper-aware of your receding chin in the first place. You may have some bruising after your procedure and that will be noticeable. The bruising also gives you...
