Could mini facelift been only a skin lift due to lack of swelling, pain & numbness afterwards?

I had a mini facelift a few years ago at 47 years old. I was told it was a S-Lift. It was done under local anaesthetic. I didn’t have any swelling at all or numbness after the surgery. I was out in public the next day. My face was tight and slim . It lasted about 8 months . Could this have been a skin lift only due to the lack of swelling, pain and numbness? The Dr is no longer practicing.
