Recommendations for mini facelift, facelift,, fillers, lip lift? (Photo)

Hi I’m a 47 I’m considering a mini facelift, facelift and/of corner/lip lift or fillers I’ve been doing Morpheus 8 ,3forma, various other lasers in past and regular profhilo and botox for a few years. What I most dislike is the downturn of the corners of my mouths and how my face appears at rest (mostly due to mouth) But also jowlswhat is the least amount of work I can do to impact this? I did Botox to dao but didn’t like affect and tried filler for downturn lobutdid t seem to do much .

Dear @ocean76, thank you for your. Based on the photos, and considering the results you want, I recommend a facelift for the second and third thirds of your face. This includes the first third of the neck. This would be part of your surgical plan for you to obtain better results. During this type of procedure, it is important to develop a surgical plan that considers the relationship between the areas to be treated and the other areas of the face to achieve a balanced, harmonious and long-lasting result. There is the option of nonsurgery treatments. I suggest fillers instead of fat grafts because fat grafts are too volatile and might cause irregularities. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Thank you for your question and photos. A corner lip lift is an ideal procedure for raising persistently downturned corners of the mouth. This generally involves removing a small sliver of skin at the oral commissures (mouth corners), with incisions placed along the vermillion border to reduce scarring. A lip lift can also enhance the overall appearance of your face by making the upper lip fuller, higher, and more youthful looking.

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. I think anything short of a standard facelift you will be unhappy with. If you go with the mini it won’t give you the kind of correction you need and you will have to get in refine after a few years. You asked about minimally invasive options but you’ve done these and they haven’t worked for you

The goal of a lower face and neck lift is to tighten loose facial and neck skin, tighten loose facial and neck muscles, lift the jowls, and remove fat deposits in the neck to improve your jawline.  A facelift is not going to address the downturn the corners in your mouth. Mini lifts give mini results, and we rarely perform them since it won't address the laxity in your neck.
