Im 30, A cup, 5'6, small frame. I'm booked for a breast lift (weight loss) and augmentation under muscle. I want full c - youthful and shapely but not fake baloony breasts. I have shown my surgeon pics, he ordered Nagor gel smooth mammary prosthesis high profile in 300, 320 & 340cc. I tried on the sizers and was happy with 300cc but am tending to go 340 to avoid regret. High profile scares me though. Has he ordered this because of my small frame? Will 340 look fake in high profile with my build?
Answer: Profile With the new implants having much firmer gels I really try to not use the high or ultra high profiles especially when patients dont want a "done look" because they hold their shape so well

Answer: Do high profile implants (300-340cc round, smooth) look fake on a small frame? Thank you for the question. In regards to specific size/profile of breast implant, despite good intentions, online consultants will not be able to provide you with meaningful specific advice. Ultimately, in person consultation with well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons will be necessary. Careful measurements, dimensional planning, and careful communication will be key. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Again, have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining which operation and/or breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup" or "look fake" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. The use of computer imaging may be very helpful during this communication phase. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery. The use of temporary intraoperative sizers, viewing the patient's breasts in the upright and supine position, are very helpful during the breast implant selection process. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to petite patients), helps.

Answer: HP implants in a small frame It's really impossible to tell without measurments and an exam. Off hand I think that the HP implants you have mentioned probably would do fine. What I am not familiar with, is the brand of implant. The only brands I am aware of as being approved for use in the US are those made by Allergan, Mentor and Sientra.

Answer: Do high profile implants (300-340cc round, smooth) look fake on a small frame? In our practice we use Allergan Natrelle -- exclusively. I believe that Nagor Implants-- are not FDA approved and I would not use them. We spend great amount of time sizing the patient and embracing your input in determining the final size. High profile implants are best used for petite , narrow framed women. The difference being the base diameter being narrower so that the breast projection can be maximum. Without photos -- it is impossible to tell what you would be a candidate for.

Answer: High profile implants Most likely these are Mentor implants. A HP implant will tend to make the breast look rounder. In the range you are using you should be fine.
