I had my operation 8 weeks ago and from the start the left breast has been bigger than the right. Although I had a slight asymmetry pre-op it was barely noticeable due to my breasts being so small. However I did mention this at my consult and my surgeon advised that the difference is not enough to add a larger implant in my smaller breast. However now I am not so sure. I had Nagor Impleo high profile, 390cc in each breast. The next size up is 420cc. Do you think I need 420cc in my right breast?
Answer: Uneven breasts Dear Katlou,So short after a procedure it is difficult to give any advice. i advice my patients to wait at least 3 months before passing any judgement. To my (European) eye, the amount of implant above your nipple is much more then below, i would have preferred anatomical implants and not high profile round, but that is just me. Maybe you like the size and the full upper pole, i didn't talk to you before. It is hard to pass judgement on that, but to my perception if your implants don't drop overtime you would need repositioning of your implants or a lifting of the nipples. Now as o the asymmetry , on these photos they are barely noticable.Good luck,

Answer: Assymetry and post operative period Hi,Post operatively it is difficult to assess what the final result of surgery will be due to changes in the tissue, and swelling. The key is patience and time and if there was a very subtle assymetry pre operatively it is likely that that will be the final outcome- again a subtle non noticeable difference. Talk to your surgeon and let him/her know your concerns and they can monitor the situation with you.A surgical revision is possible if needed ,but at the moment it is far to soon to say that, that is the best way forward. All the bestJeremy Hunt

Answer: 8 weeks post op. How can my uneven breast size be fixed? (Photo) I know it's hard to be patient, but at only 8 weeks post-op, that's the best thing to do right now. You are really too soon in your recovery to evaluate your results because your implants will continue to settle over the next few months changing the shape of your breasts. If the asymmetry was very slight pre-operatively, it should be very slight post-operatively. Definitely discuss your concerns with your surgeon so your progress can be tracked and re-evaluate closer to 6 months post-op with your surgeon. If you are still unhappy, you can discuss your options with your surgeon at that time and move forward from there. Best of luck! ac

Answer: Asymmetry 8 weeks after breast augmentation You are still early in your recovery. Your breasts will continue to change for the next 2-4 months. The implant in the smaller breast implant is still high and after dropping may look more symmetrical. Please discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon in person.

Answer: Asymmetry early after surgery You should follow the advce of your surgeon throughthis process. As long as your surgeon does not think there is a fluid collecton on the left then you are best to wait out the healing process and not make any decisions about implant exchange until 6 months post op
