I just want to get rid of nasal flaring am I a candidate for alarplasty? (Photos)

It is certainly possible to reduce the width of your nostrils and narrow that region. However, you would need a consultation to make sure that the tip region does not have to be addressed as well as alterations there can affect your tip position and overall appearance of your nose.

Hello!Thank you for your question. I think that you could benefit from a closed scarless rhinoplasty. Doctors can do a procedure called weirs which is when you make internal cuts and tuck in your nostrils. This way you have no risk of any cuts or scars! This is the best option if you are looking for subtle refinement of your nose! photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose. You may also benefit from an alar base reduction.  Make
sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients
who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer
animation system. The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a

Without the benefit of physical exam, and a clear set of photos- all views- it's difficult to comment accurately. Generally speaking, in order to achieve the best looking nose- all aspects of the nose have to be addressed. It can be achieved through a closed technique- without a scar across columella. I suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for in person exam

I think an alarplasty is a good idea for you as long as your PS know how to do it only from inside without any external scar.
External scar at the base of Alae is the worth thing to have.
