Thank for your question. If this filler has made you happy and looks great then don’t switch! I suggest maintaining your volume by keeping up with injections periodically. You should follow up with your injector every 4 to 6 months and see if it’s time for a maintenance injection. Congratulations and best wishes!Dr. Aldo

The hyaluronic acid fillers you used on your lips will gradually disappear over the next year or two. The rate at which the filler disappears is slightly different for each person. As the filler disappears you will at some point feel the lip has become too small and you may want additional filler at that time.  Volbella is a filler which comes in 0.5 cc syringes and this could be used for a "touch up" fill when the need arises.  

Thanks for posting your question! I think your idea of 0.5ml every 6 months or so would work well. At some point you may want to consider fat injects. For lip volume it works very well and gives some increased longevity. Best of luck, Dr. M
