The swelling has happened about once a month, which makes me think it does have something to do with the menstral cycle. I am retaining water in the tear troughs. It’s always been after sleep. It lasts about 3 days. It’s not an allergic reaction to my skin care products. Do you have any clearer answers to this problem?

Answer: Swelling after fillers Dear taunya22,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your injector for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Swelling in the tear trough.... Hello Taunya. I'm sorry about your swelling. It certainly could be related to water retention from your menses. However, it would be better to have an evaluation with your injector/physician. Without a good physical examination of this area, it will be hard to tell online what is causing this repeated swelling.Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
