Both Restylane Kysse and Juviderm Ultra XC are great options and will produce very similar results. Additionally, they both last from around 6-12 months. The key difference:If you wish to also have other facial areas treated , JUVÉDERM Ultra XC is your best choice. If you're looking for fewer injections with improved flexibility, texture, and lip color, then Restylane Kysse is your best option. Best, Dr. Emer.
That is a great question! Every patient is different, so results may vary. Depending on the formula, Juvaderm can typically last around 12 months while Restylane can last around 6 months. It is always recommended that you visit a Board Certified physician to direct you to the right treatment for you as an individual! Best wishes,Barbara L. Persons, MD, FACS
Juvederm versus Restylane: They're fairly comparable. Both can achieve long term results. I agree with Doctor Kim in that a lot of my patients feel Restylane goes a little longer for them too. Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
Hi pollywolly86,Thanks for your question. It's an interesting one, because I don't think we really know the answer for a given individual. In general, in trials, the fillers have similar duration. Anecdotally, though, some of our patients feel that Restylane lasts longer. Others feel that Juvederm lasts longer. The two fillers also differ in how they feel in the lips. To make matters more confusing, there are now a number of new fillers than can also be used in the lips. I would have a discussion with your provider and tell him/her what you are hoping to achieve with your lip filler. Then he/she can advise you on the best filler for your needs. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. Everyone absorbs hyaluronic acid fillers differently. Juvederm typically lasts 1 year whereas Restylane lasts around 6 months. I find that Restylane Silk is a great option for lip augmentation. I recommend having a consultation with an expert to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. Each patient differs in how quickly their body absorbs the filler, so as far as longevity, it often depends on you. I recommend that you consult an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon injector. They can offer you the best options for the best results. Good luck!Anthony P. Terrasse, MD
The longer a filler lasts, the firmer it usually is. You don't want to use a firm filler in the lip because it can look abnormal. I would recommend restylane silk which will last about six months.Best of luck
Most lip fillers will last between 6-9 months and some last a bit longer. Restylane and Juvederm ultra last about the same time.
All the hyaluronic acid fillers last about the same in the lip regardless of the marketing so just choose an experienced board certified dermatologist to inject
Thank you for your question, it certainly is a good one! Each individual absorbs the product differently. Juvederm can last about one year and Restylane can last around 6 months. Restylane silk is a great option for lip fillers. I also recommend that you seek a consultation with a Board Certified physician, they will always direct you into the right option for you, your skin and your desired goal.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks this is your final results and can be due to filler placement. The great thing about Restylane is that it is not permanent and can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with your results. I recommend following up with your...
Thank you for your question. It is common to have some swelling after fillers for lip augmentation and can take up 2 weeks to fully resolve and see your final results. You can ice the area to help reduce any swelling. Also, it is advisable to avoid any NSAID’s before and after treatment to h...
A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best...
