Hi mopar,What you are describing is termed subcutaneous emphysema. It is when air gets into tissues under the skin. This can happen during a surgical procedure. This is a self limiting process and will resolve without you needing to do anything. The one thing you want to make sure is that you have no signs or symptoms of infection, such as increased swelling, redness, or warmth in the area.
