I am a 70 year old female. No health issues. On no medications. Walk 3-5 miles daily. Am 5’4” and 129lbs. Had a facelift done nearly 20 years ago and it has aged very well! But I’d like another one. So…are 2nd ones safe? How are the results compared to 1st facelifts? Mine was a SMAS lift. Would like the same. Thank you!
Answer: Facelift revision 2 nd facelifts usually turn out well. For me it gives me an opportunity to improve upon some aspects of the first facelift that perhaps aren’t the greatest. And it is very safe as long as you are in good health. And often earlier to go through

Answer: Revsions Facelift It's quite common for individuals to undergo two facelifts, especially if they are good candidates and there's a natural need for additional surgery after about 20 years. It appears that you achieved excellent results with your initial procedures. Advances in techniques have led to improvements, particularly with SMAS lifts, making revisions relatively straightforward. This allows for scar repositioning and the potential for an enhanced outcome, especially concerning your neck area.

Answer: Facelift As long as you are healthy and have a high exercise tolerance....I do not believe there is a reason you should not be able to pursue this. I would find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I always tell prospective patients to look at the plastic surgeon's training (ideally a 6 year integrated plastic surgery residency and a 1 year aesthetic fellowship accredited by The Aesthetic Society). In addition, examine before/after photos on social media platforms. I would also look at Google or RealSelf reviews. This will help you get a comprehensive understanding of your provider.

Answer: Revision Facelift Hello, hope you are well. Generally speaking, revision facelift surgery is safe with a similar risk profile as primary facelift surgery. The surgical expectations cannot be generalized in terms of how it will compare to your first facelift. You are a different person from 20 years ago. You will likely have a different starting point, a different surgeon (with a different surgical technique even it is still a "SMAS lift"), different recovery period, and different outcome. So you are more or less starting fresh, but with the knowledge that there will be scar tissue under your skin from the prior surgery. Good luck! Best,Dr. Tower

Answer: Second facelift, is it safe? A secondary facelift is just as safe as a primary facelift. It's very important that you study your perspective surgeon's before and after facelift photo gallery, which should be extensive with results that look very natural.
