Thank you for your question. Although you are allowed to return to exercising and swimming a week after your surgery I would recommend wearing a compression bathing suit during this time. We always advise patient to keep their compression garment on for 24 hours during this time.
After undergoing BodyTite treatment, it's generally recommended to wait until your incision sites are fully healed and any swelling or tenderness has subsided before swimming or engaging in water-related activities. Here are some general guidelines:Healing Process: The healing timeline can vary depending on individual factors such as the extent of treatment, your body's healing ability, and the specific areas treated. Typically, you may experience swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort immediately after BodyTite, which can gradually improve over the following weeks.Post-Operative Care: Your plastic surgeon or cosmetic provider will provide specific post-operative care instructions, including when it is safe to resume activities like swimming. This may include wearing compression garments, avoiding strenuous activities, and keeping incision sites clean and dry.Consultation with Your Surgeon: It's essential to schedule a follow-up appointment with your surgeon to assess your healing progress. They can evaluate your incision sites, monitor any signs of infection or complications, and provide personalized recommendations for returning to normal activities, including swimming.Typical Timeline: In general, most patients can start swimming again around 4-6 weeks after BodyTite, assuming there are no complications and healing is progressing well. However, this timeline can vary, so it's crucial to follow your surgeon's guidance based on your individual recovery.Avoidance of Pools and Water: During the initial healing phase, it's important to avoid pools, hot tubs, and other bodies of water that may increase the risk of infection or irritation to healing incisions.Always prioritize your health and follow your surgeon's post-operative instructions carefully to ensure a smooth recovery and optimize your results from BodyTite treatment.
Great question! To ensure proper healing, I would give yourself a few weeks before returning to any physical activity; however, this can vary patient to patient. I always recommend consulting with your surgeon first because you want to make sure your incision sites are completely healed before beginning any physical activity.
Thank you for your question. Before you go swimming in a pool, lake or ocean, you want to make sure your incisions have closed to prevent infection. Once your incisions are closed, you want to make sure your skin has "stuck" to its new position which for most patients takes 2 -3 weeks. Be sure to discuss your healing with your Board Certified plastic surgeon and they will be able to get more specific with you.
Just 1 week later after liposuction and bodytite is when i start my patients exercising and swimming with no problems.
You'll need to check with your surgeon. In my practice all incisions need to be healed completely. For BodyTite the compromise to skin is minimal and one week should be adquate.
Hello, thank you for your question. Typically, you can return to sedentary activities within two to three days; full activity with exercise, within two to three weeks.
After the procedure, showering is performed the next day but bathing and swimming should be postponed until all the puncture sites are well healed (which is customarily 2 weeks). Compression is your friend and garments should be worn 24/7 for the first 6 weeks to obtain optimal results. Exercise can be resumed after 2 weeks.
Thank you for your question. We recommend wearing a compressive garment for 2 weeks after the procedure. It helps reduce swelling and supports the tissues as they heal. I recommend contacting the surgeon who did your BodyTite if you have any questions about recovery. Good luck!
This question is best answered by your surgeon who is most familiar with your procedure and how you've been progressing through recovery. You will want to wait until all incisions are healed before submerging in water. Exercise can begin typically a week or two after the procedure.
Hello, and thank you for your question! I believe you would be an excellent candidate for BodyTite. BodyTite helps improve skin laxity and remodeling by fat coagulation and volumetric heating. This has become a very popular minimally invasive procedure that most people have excellent results...
Thank you for your question! From the photos you posted, you look like an ideal candidate for Bodytite. Bodytite uses radio frequency to help tighten loose skin in conjunction with liposcution. While a tummy tuck is the gold standard, Bodytite is a minimally invasive procedure that will give you...
I have utilized several techniques to improve this appearance, but it requires great precision to improve this. You need to find a plastic surgeon who does a lot of revisions. You need to realize that no one will be able to produce complete correction.
