Are my implants suppose to be so high like this? I have 480 saline on lefy side and 500 in right. I just feel like with that big of an implant they would be a LOT bigger. Also What's everyone's experience in the first few days with pain? I'm only using Ib profien and in pain.
Answer: Implants high... This looks appropriate for this size of breast implant inserted and will improve in the next few days as swelling and settling begins to improve. Congratulations and good luck!

Answer: Post Op Concerns - Appearance of Breasts Hi C_T17, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process. Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. Also, your breasts can drop at different rates. But if you are still concerned, you can always visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. This way, you will be reassured. Also, if after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss the possibility of revision surgery. Lastly, follow your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions and advice for faster healing and recovery. Answer: Breast implants Hello and thank you for your questions. It is absolutely normal to be in pain after breast implant surgery. As far as the height of the implants, you must wait until all swelling has subsided, as well as follow all the instructions your surgeon has given you to allow the implants to finally settle in. Remember to not get anxious and be patient to achieve the best results. Please contact your surgeon if the pain is too strong for the ibuprofen to handle, they will prescribe you something stronger depending on whatever other medications you may be taking.

Answer: Are my implants supposed to be this high? You have relatively larger implants so they will sit high but as the swelling resolves, the implants will settle into the breast pocket. Best to call your plastic surgeon so he or she knows you are in pain and can adjust your pain medication accordingly. Good luck!

Answer: Are my implants supposed to be this high? It would be helpful if you have stated how long has your surgery been. What you are experiencing might just be swelling, which can last for a few months. It may also be due to tightness around the breast area which is not uncommon after surgery. Your implants will settle into the pockets made by your surgeon as soon as your breast tissues start to relax.
