Enlarged & rounded mons pubis 2 years after tummy tuck? (Photo)

Question

3 months after surgery I posted a question about my rounded mons area. The general consensus was swelling and I figured I'd give it time to improve. It has now been 2 yrs & although it improved, it is still evident. Unfortunately, I moved to MA from KS and am unable to consult with my original surgeon. Should I consider a consult with a local surgeon for a revision or to see if tissue has collected there? It feels too hard to just be fat. Is this something I am just going to have to live with?

Fortunately… Your swelling has gone down substantially since the photo at three months. That said, I still certainly see the prominence. I would recommend you seek the advice of a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of plastic surgery and has experience in abdominoplasty. Consult an ASAPS board certified plastic surgeon locally. It is relatively straightforward to have liposuction of the mons to decrease the size of the mound. Good luck..,,
