I went for a consultation to see about having kybella done and my doctor didn’t think kybella would make that much of a difference and wouldn’t be worth the cost. I don’t have enough fat for cool sculpting. She recommended dysport along the jaw line to help with that area. I would please like to have some feedback on this. Thanks

Answer: Double chin help Thank you for your question. In general a Nefertiti lift is not going to be useful for this. Double chins are caused by excess tissue in the submental area. The best way to address that is usually removal of the fat and a tightening of the skin. The best method for addressing excess skin under the chin is a neck or facelift to remove that skin. Chemical and laser tightening is dependent on the amount of collagen left in your skin. I recommend seeing a qualified Facial Plastic Surgeon to help you choose the route best for you.

Answer: Double Chin Treatment Hi and thank you for your question. This may help improve the overall appearance, however it is not directly treating a double chin. There are other more effective procedures to reduce a double chin, including Belkyra / Kybella, Coolsculpting, and Vaser Liposuction. Wishing you all the best, Stay absolutely safe and well, Dr. Murray from Absolute Cosmetic Medicine

Answer: Dysport Nefertiti lift by definition involves injecting Dysport into platysmal muscle, which is a superficial thin muscle in front of the neck. Counterintuitively relaxing the platysmal muscle results in neck tightening because the natural action of platysymal muscle is to pull out of the skin. This is how platysmal bands develop with age.

Answer: Nefertiti lift for a double chin A Nefertiti lift is not generally considered as the primary treatment for a double chin. Treating a double chin largely depends on a person's anatomy (fat, bone, skin, muscle, etc) and personal preference. Most plastic surgeons would likely recommend some combination of neck liposuction, chin augmentation, or a neck lift to adequately address a double chin. For those who aren't candidates for surgery, then nonsurgical methods may be considered, such as a Nefertiti lift for temporary improvement. Office evaluation would be required to help determine appropriate options.
