Can Botox or filler (Radiesse) cause yeast infection?

Hello, Botox should not cause a yeast infection.  The timing of the injection and your problem is more likely to be coincidental.

I think that the history that you have given also provides us with your answer.  Botox and dermal filler, including Radiesse,  will not lead to vaginal yeast infections.  However, antibiotic use during and following breast lift surgery can!  It does not necessarily occur during antibiotic administration but can occur after completion of your course of antibiotics.  I would suggest discussing this with your gynecologist and make certain it is a yeast infection and treat accordingly. 

It is highly unlikely that the botox has had any contribution to your vaginal issues. My recommendation would be to schedule an appointment with your OBGYN for a checkup.

Thank you for your question.  It is unlikely that Botox contributed to vaginal drying or a vaginal infection. Botox is administered in very small quantities and absorbed quickly into the injected muscle.  It is more likely that the medications you took after your breast lift may be causing issues. Speak with your plastic surgeon about your signs and symptoms and they should be able to help diagnose and treat the issue

The more common side effects of facial Botox injections include bruising and mild headache.  Neither Radiesse nor Botox will cause a vaginal yeast infection. 

Neither Botox or Radiesse would cause a vaginal yeast infection.  I do not believe that your symptoms are directly related to your injections. #botox

I would suspect the antibiotics you took at the time of your breast surgery is a bigger player in your problem.  There is no plausible connection between the botox/ radiesse and the pH or flora balance in your vagina.
