I had Botox 8 hours ago in frown lines & in the middle of my forehead, under my eyebrows are a little swollen. Will this reduce?

No Botox was injected above the areas swelled, I read that Botox can make eyes droop, is this possible if there was nothing injected above the swelled areas? Please help! How can I take the swelling away

Localized swelling after BOTOX injections is common, and usually resolves quickly.  If it does not, I would recommend contacting your physician.

It is very common to have localized swelling after BOTOX injections but this swelling should subside fairly quickly.  When this product is injected, it is injected along with a carrying medium which causes the local tissue to swell for a few hours.  After that, the swelling should definitely go down. If you remain swollen after 24 hours, you should check in with your injector.  I hope that helps!

Thank you for your question.  Local reactions to botox are not uncommon: slight redness, swelling, or itching. These largely resolve within a day.   You can try to minimize these risks with cold compresses after your injections.  As far as eye droop, this is a possible complication whose risk increases the closer the Botox injections are to your eyebrow region.  Your injector can walk you through these symptoms and risks so that you can be fully informed

Botox in the forehead can make the eyes droop if overdone.  However, it takes 2-3 days for start working, so it would be extremely unlikely that the swelling you are seeing now is a sign of eyelid droop.  It may be from bruising that tracked down to your eyelid area. #botox

Yes those bumps should go away.  If they are still present a day after injections however I encourage you to return to your dermatologist or injector for evaluation.   Stay skintastic
