Is it possible to get back former shape (inner thighs) after liposuction, over time? Or to gain some fat in that area within time? I have a huge thigh gap after lipo (horrible). Any suggestions?

Since you didn't include a photo, I went back and saw some of your previous questions and see that you never wanted your inner thighs suctioned to begin with.  Well, in much the same way that you had fat harvested and injected into the buttocks, you could potentially have the same thing done for your inner thighs.  I would, of course, wait a while before going ahead and doing so, but it is a possibility.I truly do hope that you end up happy after all this.

Inner thigh liposuction is tricky. You must approach it very cautiously. If you have a contour deformity because of liposuction the best method of correction would be fat grafting

Inner thighs are very commonly requested areas for contouring. it is a tricky area to contour as even a slight amount of overzealous liposuction can cause deep depressions like it happened in your case. the treatment for such defects largely depends on the anatomy of the defect. I would recommend a combination approach including fat grafting

Hello and thank you for your question.Without pictures or an exam my opinion here is quite limited.  Also, how far out you are from your procedure and what kind of garment you're wearing can affect your contour.... But it sounds like what you are describing is a contour irregularity, a common complication of liposuction, particularly when it is performed by inexperienced surgeons.  Anyone can remove fat, but it takes some experience to remove it in an even, aesthetically pleasing way-- especially on the lower extremities.  If that is the case, and you have an uneven contour 6 months after your surgery (when your swelling has subsided), gaining weight won't fix the problem.  This is because the fat cells are gone, and you will gain weight everywhere, not just in the spot that you want it to go (if only!).  I would recommend discussing these concerns with your surgeon, or consulting with an experienced Plastic Surgeon who does a lot of liposuction and can improve your thigh contour, likely with surgery. Once the fat is removed it is difficult to try to reverse it. Fat grafting from other areas may be helpful. Best of luck. with your surgery.

The inner thighs are a tricky area to perform liposuction without causing a depression and/or loose skin.  Liposuction in this area needs to be done judiciously to prevent contour irregularities.  I don't think that you will be able to regain weight specifically in the affected areas.  Without seeing the defect, I would suspect that you may now need an inner thigh lift along with further fat tapering to minimize the contour defect.  This can be a difficult problem to fix without further surgery.
