Can I go under general twice in 1 month?

Question

I’m booked to have an operation on 23rd January and 26th of February. One is to correct my scares from my breast augmentation and the other day surgery on my womb. Is this ok or do I need to postpone one?

Is it not possible to do both surgeries under one anesthesia?Although theoretically possible to have two general anesthesias a few days apart, most people would probably recuperate better if the surgeries were spread out a little more.Talk to your doctors about your concerns and consider either combining the operations or spreading them apart.

Generally speaking, multiple Anesthesias can be safely tolerated, provided a patient is a healthy individual and a low anesthesia risk. Final decision must be made by the Anesthesia Provider.

Assuming you don't have any health problems, you should be able to go through both of'em relatively unfazed.
In any case, your anesthesiologist will have the final say, so if they give you the green light, then you are ready to proceed.

Current methods of general anesthesia are very safe and can be performed within short time periods.Ask your doctor if you can have intravenous sedation plus local anesthesia into the scars as an alternative to a general anesthetic for these surgeries.
