A droopy nasal tip can be more than just a large nasal tip. Many times a large dorsal nasal hump contributes significantly to a droopy nasatip itself. In this case I reduction of the nasal hump is essential to help rotate the nasal tip upwards.  That also requires low lateral osteotomies.  In essence, this becomes a forward rhinoplasty.  You need to have an evaluation to assess if only tip work will be needed or will it turned into a forward rhinoplasty.RegardsDr. J

 A tip rhinoplasty can be performed on the nose, but only  if the remainder of the nose is in excellent balance and the tip is out of balance. The tip of the nose can be lifted and made more narrow with a  Combination of and  cartilage grafting techniques, conservative cartilage removal and suture techniques applied to the lower lateral cartilages of the nasal tip. There are plenty of occasions in which only the tip needs work - and it therefore is a shorter operation that costs less. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that sometimes there is a need to work on the bridge, if necessary, to make sure that the new tip blend harmoniously with the rest of the nose. Costs vary form one region to another (based on cost of living), and from doctor to another (based on how experienced and in-demand the plastic surgeon is).  Usually, more experienced specialists will cost more (like everything else in life).  According to national numbers, you can expect to pay anywhere from $2500 to $7000 to the surgeon for what you're thinking about.  If the operation requires you to go to a surgery center, then additional costs will apply (although many times tip-plasty can be done under local anesthesia in my own experience).Best wishes,RM
