Is my nose tip swollen?

So I got a nose job 34 days ago and I noticed as my finger goes down my nose, there is a bump. It's really hard to explain on here but from my bridge to the tip there is this big bump. My nose tip isn't really defined, too upturned, and it's big compared to my bridge. Is this just swelling? Will it be more defined, less upturned, and smaller?

Dear jackieIn the 4th to 5th week after rhinoplasty, the swelling of the dorsum can decrease before the tip swelling settles. It can therefore appear as though the tip is too bulky. It is too early to assess that relationship.  It is impractical to guess what will happen but what you should do at this point is to follow your surgeons instructions, openly discuss your concerns with your surgeon and wait for the swelling to settle. You will have a much better sense of your results at 3 months post op.  Although your nose will  still change after that, the general shape will become predictable.

At just over one month it is completely normal to still have swelling and firm areas. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon who is in the best position to explain exactly what your specific circumstances are.

Since you are only 34 days post op, yours nose is healing.  It is swollen and can remain swollen for weeks to months.  Follow up with your Plastic Surgeon so that he can monitor your progress.
