I had a PDO hiko nose thread recently and the results were not what I was looking for. I did a quick search and some articles stated that the results last 1-2 years. However, other sources state that I can proceed with a rhinoplasty 6-9 months after my thread. So I'll like to ask how long I should wait before it's safe to get the surgical rhinoplasty? Also, is it ideal to go for a consultation at the 7 month mark when the results of the thread is still visible?

Hello yes of course you can get rid of silicone and have a second surgery. Therefore your nose will not be the same as a natural one because you will have a second surgery
Your nose will continue to change as it heals for 1-2 years (and sometimes even longer). Unless there is something clearly amiss from your initial surgery, 6 months is a little premature to jump into a revision surgery. Follow up with your surgeon, discuss your concerns with her/him, and give...
