How long is it safe to wait for rhinoplasty after PDO hiko nose threads?

I had a PDO hiko nose thread recently and the results were not what I was looking for. I did a quick search and some articles stated that the results last 1-2 years. However, other sources state that I can proceed with a rhinoplasty 6-9 months after my thread. So I'll like to ask how long I should wait before it's safe to get the surgical rhinoplasty? Also, is it ideal to go for a consultation at the 7 month mark when the results of the thread is still visible?
