Based on your photos, it would be a mistake to simply perform alar base modification.  There is an important relationship between the proportion of the width of the nostrils relative to the width of the tip, and if the nostril width is reduced without addressing the width of the tip - it will appear even more bulbous in comparison.   Given the thickness of your skin, you will need some degree of tip projection to achieve a refined tip.  Without projection it will be difficult to see the changes made underneath the skin.

Your photos appear to reveal a retracted columella, a bulbous nasal tip, and flaring nostrils. Alarplasty would not address the excessive width of your nasal tip. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

Based on your photos and your desired outcome, you would be likely better served with a full rhinoplasty rather than an isolated alarplasty.  I would recommend using your own cartilage rather than silicone as the outcome is much longer lasting - actually permanent - compared to alloplastic implants.   The cost of asian rhinoplasty varies from region to region.  Best to visit a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area.

Hi Graige,Based on your photos, you seem to have a bulbous tip and wide nasal bridge. The price of ethnic rhinoplasty will vary on geographic location. Depending on the reason for your bulbous tip- surgery may require defatting the tip, cartilage grafting, and/or reshaping, this will reduce the width and bulbosity of your nose. The bridge of your nose can be slimmed down. I recommend doing research on facial plastic surgeons and scheduling a consultation. During the consultation you can ask to have your nose computer imaged so you and the surgeon can discuss what changes you would like to make. This will also give you a realistic picture of what your nose could look like. It is imperative to find a surgeon who has performed many rhinoplasties; this will help avoid any future revisions.
