Do I need to stop birth control?

I am a 24 year old healthy female who is going in for vaser liposuction on my chin, the procedure will take less than an hour and I am on the birth control pill cerazette which is a progestogen only pill and have been told I need to stop taking it 2 weeks before my surgery, I have been on this pill for 4 years now and if I stop it my hormones will mess up again, do I really need to stop taking it?

If you're referring to nitrous oxide as laughing gas it will not cause cardiac arrest. The dissociative feelings you had are common with any central nervous system anesthetic.

Liposuction of the chin and neck is easily done with local anesthesia only. General anesthesia is not indicated. Anxious patients can be given a bit of oral sedation prior to the procedure.
