11 days ago Botox was put in forehead and 11 lines. extra was added to one brow to lift it. 24 units in total. Now the inner brows have dropped and the arches seem way higher Skin in lids seems to be bunching The side that was raised has less movement then the other which looks odd when raising them I look very odd and so upset with myself for doing this! Is there a chance the brows will lift back up and correct themselves before the 3 months it takes for it to wear off completely? Will it get any worse?

Answer: Botox / Xeomin / Dysport -- side effects, heavy forehead, excessive eye brow lifting or spock brow, ptosis or drooping eyelids this can be improved with a small amount of botox above your brows to bring them down. this is a reactive process, your outer brows are becoming more active because the middle brows arent working as much. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: "Spocking" which can be softened by an experienced provider In your case - there is too much movement above your lateral eyebrows. The upper forehead is a tricky area - if it's placed too close to the brow - it will "drop" and feel heavy. Conversely - if it's not placed in the proper area and it's too far from the brow - then you can "spock". Also - it appears that your procerus muscle may not have had enough botox so it's causing the "angry bird" appearance by still pulling down. Only experienced injectors know how to correct this and more importantly - anticipate in new patients who are at risk for this. The good news is that this can be easily corrected so go back to your provider and see if they can do it. If they can't - then find a new injector. Lesson leared: No 2 botox injectors are the same. Just like hair stylists - they use the same scissors but if you go to different people - you will get two different results.
