Is 22 too young to have Botox? Had about 20 units places around my eyebrows to help smooth out a dent.

No, you aren't too young to have Botox. Often, young patients begin Botox early to help with prevention. If you stop using Botox, your skin will go back to normal and you won't have droopy eyebrows. Hope this helps.

Thanks for asking this question. It is dependent entirely on the patients skin, if the practitioner and yourself feel it is necessary for wrinkle removal, than there should be no issue with botox.
Botox isn't permanent, it last for up to 3-4 months. It is entirely up to you if you choose to continue using it. Once the botox wears off, your skin returns back to its usual state. 

There is an increasing number of young people having Botox for preventative measures. Duration of Botox has many variables. This means you may not require a course of Botox every 4 months. The "frozen face" look is from completely paralysing the muscles of facial expression. Botox treatment can be tailored such that some movement still remains, yet avoids the wrinkles.

I am seeing patients younger and younger taking a preventative approach in treating and preventing wrinkles with the use of Botox.  Botox combined with a good medical grade skin care regime, sunscreen, and a healthy lifestyle can help prevent most lines/wrinkles from forming or getting worse. If you discontinue treatments your skin will return to its natural state.

Thank you for sharing your experience and concerns with us. You are not too young and the Doctor gave you the right advice. You don't have to continue to have it every 4 months if you choose to , but if you do this will prevent you from getting the indentation deeper and also prevents you from getting wrinkles ( as we age the skin get soggier, we loose collagen and because of daily facial expression we develop wrinkles). No droopiness as a side effect of discontinuation of botox.

At 22 you are not too young for Botox. Botox can be used for prevention and maintenance. Stopping your Botox treatments will not leave you with droopy eyebrows. The treated area will look like it did prior to the Botox injections.
