I think I have 2.5cm abdominal gap. it looks flat, but big at night time. when I sit down, it is very loose. When I kneel down, the muscle are felling down if I don’t hold abdominal muscle. the skin is loose, but I dont think I have enough skin on uppber to do full tummy tuck. However, if I do mini tummy tuck, the belly button will be loose. BTW i dont like T scar look. Should I do lipo too? Please give me some suggestion? Thanks.
Answer: Tummy Tuck or Vaser Hi-Def Liposuction Could Help You Achieve Your Goals Thank you for your question and your detailed description of your concerns. Based on the information provided and your photo, I believe you could be a great candidate for Vaser Hi-Def Liposuction or a tummy tuck with muscle repair depending on your preferences and aesthetic goals. Vaser Hi-Def Liposuction is a minimally invasive option that targets fat deposits and enhances muscle definition. Since you don’t appear to have significant excess skin, this procedure could help sculpt your abdomen and give it a more defined, toned look. It would also avoid the need for any large incisions or scars. However, it won’t address loose skin or the abdominal gap (diastasis recti) you’ve mentioned. If you want to address the diastasis recti and loose skin comprehensively, a tummy tuck with muscle repair may be a better option. This involves suturing your abdominal muscles together, which would eliminate the "falling down" feeling you described when kneeling. You mentioned not liking the appearance of a T-scar, but if you’re okay with a vertical scar from the belly button combined with a horizontal incision from hip to hip, a full tummy tuck would give you excellent results. For a complete transformation, you could combine the tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks to create a more contoured, hourglass shape. Ultimately, your choice will depend on: Your Tolerance for Scars: A tummy tuck will involve more noticeable scarring compared to Vaser Hi-Def Liposuction. Your Goals: If you’re aiming for muscle repair and skin tightening, a tummy tuck is the better option. If your focus is on fat removal and muscle definition, Vaser Hi-Def Liposuction may suffice. Consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon: They can assess your skin laxity and diastasis recti in person and help you make an informed decision. No matter the route you choose, you have excellent potential to achieve a bikini-ready result. Best of luck, and congratulations on taking this step toward your goals! Sincerely, J. Answer: Surgery You could try liposuction to remove excess fat and EMSculpt to tighten your abdominal muscles non-surgically. Otherwise, I would consider a min-tuck and leave the belly button where it is.

Answer: Bikini look Dear Enthusiastic284398, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you don't have much loose skin so you probably don't need tummy tuck. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Tummy tuck The best option is a full abdominoplasty. Your diastasis (muscle laxity) makes an abdominoplasty necessary (as opposed to liposuction with skin excision). It is likely, although not 100%, that you will have a vertical incision extending from the low transverse scar where the umbilical hole is closed. Hard to assess until we are in the operating room during the procedure. Even though, you will still benefit and I would consider proceeding so your skin and muscles will be tight and rejuvenated. Thank you.

Answer: Mini tummy tuck It is possible that you may benefit from a mini tummy tuck. A minor amount of skin can be excised and also the inferior abdominal wall can be reinforced at that time. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
