FUT strip donor area after 2.5months, 1500 grafts. Is this normal? (Photo)

Hi I would like to know is my donor area after 2.5 months post fut strip op is normal. As you can see from the picture, the donor area surrounding the scar have no follicles or root hair. Is it normal or will the hair surrounding the scar grow back? My doctor had done a Trichophytic closure on that area but I saw online pictures immediately after strip surgery the donor area is not as wide compare to mine. Even if I keep my back hair long but sometimes still unable to cover all the area.

It would be very difficult to "reposition" transplanted hairs from your hair line.  You would need to speak with your doctor for a better assessment.

Hair transplant surgery would not generally cause wrinkles or facial skin changes.  If you are concerned it is best to follow up with your doctor.

There aren't any studies done on this so I would wait a month after your transplant- at this point your transplanted hairs are essentially the same as your normal hair, so it's very unlikely it will affect the transplants any differently than your normal hair at that point.

It is best to discuss medication issues with your treating doctor.  Since your doctor is treating you for a medical condition, you may need to address the side effect issues and weigh out the risks versus the benefits.
