Can Remicade hurt hair transplantation

I have reactive arthrisis and use remicade from time to time. I quit using it 7 months ago since my doctor wanted me to. I did have hair transplantation last month but now my doctor says that I might need to start remicade again. Can it hurt my hair transplantation? I heard that remicade suppresses the immune system and it's not an easy medicine.

It is difficult to make a diagnosis based on a photo but there may be some inflammation or possibly folliculitis(superficial infection).I would recommend following up with your surgeon.

Hello and thank you for your question. Unfortunately there is not any medication that will make new hair grow, it will only help retain the hair that you have.

Scalp hair is usually the best donor hair for a normal hair transplant surgery.  You need to ask your doctor why the beard hair would be preferred over scalp hair.
