When can you start going to gym after FUT hair transplant?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  Most doctors would advise you to take it easy for 1 to 2 weeks.

We allow our patients to return to unrestricted full activity 1 week after the procedure,whether FUE or FUT.This is primarily to protect the recipient area,not the donor area.We have not seen any adverse effects on donor area healing with this regimen.

The protocol for wait time following FUT hair transplant varies from physician to physician. However, most of the physicians do advise to start off after 2 weeks of surgery.

Most transplant surgeons will want you to defer going to the gym for at least a week.  The time can vary depending on the specifics of your procedure this is a question best answered by your surgeon.

With FUE generally two weeks after a procedure is OK to start light workouts. With FUT you have to wait longer to avoid the scar from stretching. It is best to run this by your hair transplant surgeon before beginning. 

After a hair transplant by the third day, you can exercise and even run a marathon if you want to do just that. No problem

At geneal 1 month after FUT hairtransplant you can start gym.But before you can get a  consultation and shown your scar healing .
