In 2020 I received breast implants and a periareolar lift. Since then I had my implants removed. I have ugly scars and deformed areolas from the benelli procedure. I really need this fixed. Can you convert the benelli to a lollipop/anchor even if a patient does not have a lot of excess skin? I am really ashamed of my breasts, I just want to look normal again.
Answer: Breasts You did not post photos, so I cannot be specific. Yes, the lift can be converted to a vertical lift to tighten excess skin and help reshape the areolae and give less stress on the areolae to not restretch in many cases.

Answer: Bad scars from benelli lift. Benelli or periaerola lifts very commonly lead to not only poor scars but also flattening of the breasts. That is some of the reasons I no longer use that lift technique. You can probably be converted to a lollipop which will help your scars and probably help your breast shape. To be sure of course you need to be evaluated in person. Good luck.

Answer: Revision Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. However, the Benelli or periareolar lift can result in pleating around the edges. This can be revised by excising the skin and placing less tension on the closure. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision It is possible to convert a periareolar lift to an anchor or lollipop lift for many patients. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for an evaluation to determine what is recommended for you.

Answer: Breast lift results Dear karlasjourney24, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
