I'm highly considering both of these procedures but I would like to do them both at the same time, is this possible/recommended and if so how do I sleep cause I know for BBL you cannot sleep on your back at first but if I get a breast lift I can't sleep not on my back? Thank you
Answer: Combination of procedures Dear mermaidrhino, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others. Answer: Surgery I do not do these two procedures at the same time to avoid pressure on the fat while sleeping. I would first do the lift, and then consider the BBL in 6 weeks.

Answer: Consider staging these procedures You are right that you won’t be able to sleep on your back or your front after a combined BBL and breast lift. Sleeping on your front is typically recommended after a BBL, and sleeping on your back at a slightly elevated angle is recommended after any cosmetic breast surgery. Sleeping on your side may be possible, but you would need to speak with your surgeon to confirm. If sleeping is a concern then you may want to consider getting these procedures done at different times.

Answer: BBL and breast lift Thank you for the question. It is possible to combine the too without compromising the results, provided that your surgeon is experienced with this combination, and has adequate post-operative protocols. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Double board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, Houston. TX.

Answer: Staging These two procedures are often staged for this reason. As you will have surgery on both your front and your back you are left with the option of sleeping on your sides after surgery. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon to find what is best for you.
