What procedures to balance cheek, jaw, chin & cheekbone? What makes my face look off? (Photos)

Question

I went to two jaw surgeons consultations and they said a sliding genioplasty would be the best option as a jaw surgery would have only a slight improvement. BUT it looks like my cheeks are really big, specially when smiling, maybe due to having prominent cheekbones. You can see a picture of me from above which shows that it is just the bone and not fat. I am very skinny so I don’t know if what you can see are chubby cheeks, or it looks like that because of my jaw. What procedure do I need?

Looking at your photos, your chin is slightly recessed and the lower portion of your face is considered short compared to the rest. A genioplasty would move your chin forward and down, bringing balance to your profile. An added benefit is that this would also elongate and add definition to your jawline. When your facial proportions are more balanced, your cheeks will not appear as large. You may also consider buccal fat removal, which would reduce some of the fullness in your lower cheeks.
