Bulge after implant removal. How can this be treated?

I had breast implant removal with a mini lift and fat transfer over a year ago. Ever since my surgery I have a fat/ bulge that hangs out over my bra and swimwear. I can still wear my same bikin top prior to surgery it was not like this before. I am 5’8 around 125 pounds. I removed my implants to make me feel better about myself now I feel worse.

Thanks for your question! While my recommendation would be to find a surgeon in your area and have an in-person consultation, I think that an explant (removal of the implant) and a partial capsulectomy would be sufficient. That is my personal opinion. Good luck!

Have you talked with your surgeon to see if any samples were sent to microbiology or pathology? This would be to rule out infection, silica, cancer, BIA-ALCL that can be linked to breast implants? If you have those results, this could explain the discoloration.
