I had three prior breast surgeries - implant, breast revision, explant. I was left with a severe indentation on one side and other issues. Dr. Strawn, in his kind, alert and caring way, gave me several options. Ultimately he went above and beyond in the surgery, and repaired muscle on both sides (which the explant doctor did not bother doing), and did an amazing job with fat transfer to even out the breasts. I am delighted with the result, and feel whole again. Dr. Strawn has a great aesthetic sense, and is a very caring doctor. Wish more doctors were like him.

My primary care physician told me Dr Strawn was the ONLY surgeon she would recommend for the implant removal surgery I needed (even though it was a 3 hour drive to his practice).  After working with Dr Strawn and his wonderful team, I am so grateful for that recommendation.  
 EVERY team member is exceptional.  They are very professional AND they are warm, caring, compassionate.  Carolyn at the front desk is efficient and welcoming and makes sure you feel comfortable and heard.  Rose, the office manager, on our first phone call made me feel like I had a new best friend. She really cared about what was going on for me and made sure I had all the information I needed.   Jennifer, Dr Strawn’s in office nurse, listened intently and answered all my questions in great detail.  Her precision as she documents the office visits reflects how much detail and precision matter in this practice.  
Dr Strawn, is simply an amazing human being.  He is humble, kind and caring first and foremost.  During all my interactions with him he was 100% present.  As well, his credentials are impeccable and are reflected in the results of his surgical interventions.  I am grateful for his help and that

Literally the best gift I gave myself! I had a double mastectomy 2 years ago through my health care plan. Although they did a good job I knew things could be better. I work in aesthetics and was referred to Dr. Strawn as a specialist. I had a consultation and immediately knew he was the doctor for me. The entire experience was amazing. All the ladies at the office are so caring and helpful. Dr. Strawn is down to earth, talented and an exceptional surgeon. I had lipo 360 with fat transfer to my breasts. He smoothed out my irregularities as well as fixed the cone shape of my breasts. The recovery was not bad at all. I was sore but back at work after 3 days. I am beyond pleased with my results. I finally feel whole again. I was able to wear a low top yesterday for the first time in 2 years and it felt amazing! My husband even commented on how soft and natural by breasts feel. 1st you enter the door to a clean, wonderfully smelling office and are greeted by Rachael. She is friendly, beautiful, and very welcoming.

Then you get the absolute privilege of meeting Rose. I instantly fell in love with her!!! She is elegant, warm, loving and so professional.

To finish up I went in to the Dr's office and was so excited to finally meet Dr. Strawn & Jennifer.

Dr. Strawn is so laid back, no stress, extremely talented and really makes you feel so comfortable in a very vulnerable situation.

Jennifer seals the deal with her ability to make you feel like you have known her for years. You feel like you have your best friend right there with you.

During my surgery I feel like I had the greatest team and really was so blessed to be able to have each and everyone of them.

My recovery has been really amazing. The whole office is very attentive and comfortable. Dr. Strawn is brilliant and I can't imagine walking this journey with anyone else.

Incredible how breast implants can really damage and affect every day life. I didn't realize I had BII until after I explanted. I now notice my whole body isn't swollen (had been for years).. I don't have that knot in my throat anymore, my skin is glowing, no more hair loss, my eyes are whiter, no more fatigue.. I've been walking since day 2 post op and feel fine

I cannot stress enough how HAPPY we are to have chosen Dr. Strawn for my surgery.

Dr. Strawn is well known for his ability to perform enbloc capsulectomy, and this was one of the reasons we originally reached out to him. As I was searching for my surgeon, I kept seeing Dr. Strawn's name come up with such amazing reviews. A lot of the keywords that I saw were skill, talent, patience, kind, bedside manner, and professionalism. After booking my consult with Dr. Strawn (well worth the wait), I could honestly attest to all of the above and then some.

The procedures that I had done were abdominoplasty, liposuction, fat transfer, enbloc capsulectomy, and mastopexy. Dr. Strawn reached out to me the next morning to check in on how I was feeling and Sheena even answered a few late night questions we had on the day of surgery. We never felt like we were out in the dark. Recovery has been so smooth, and I believe that that is largely thanks to Dr. Strawn and the skilled work he performed as well as the preparation we did to get ready for the surgery. Dr. Strawn continuously provides support in your pre and post op journey. He spends time with you answering any and every question you may have. Even during some normal pain I was experiencing, Dr. Strawn squeezed me in during the day so that I could come in and get everything checked out just to be safe.

From the moment you call in for your consultation, you will feel at peace. Sheena, the practice administrator, is your first impression and the first person you will speak with. If she is the ONLY thing you based your decision on, you would feel like you absolutely made the right decision, right from the start. Sheena is knowledgable beyond belief, trustworthy, and makes you feel like your chatting with your best friend who has your best interest at heart. She is empathetic and kind and, specially in todays culture, that is unheard of. She is so responsive, welcoming, and helpful (even after your surgery when you have late night questions, her and Dr. Strawn are there for you).. Dr. Strawn is the most incredible surgeon who does all of the heavy hitting, and Sheena is like your best friend who holds your hand throughout it, making you feel reassured and comfortable during the process.

I can not stress enough how incredible our experience has been thanks to Dr. Strawn. I am so forever grateful for the health and confidence he has given to me. I am so thankful to have been in the hands of the BEST surgeon.

A few years ago, Dr. Strawn literally saved my life, after I needed a double mastectomy, due to invasive breast cancer. I don't mean metaphorically, but literally! I did not choose my breast cancer surgeon with the same extreme caution that I used in choosing my reconstructive plastic surgeon. My botched mastectomy turned into an infection but I did not know it at the time. I was simply suffering from flu like symptoms and a family member insisted I call the surgeon who preformed my mastectomy. That surgeon was no where to be found and did not return my call that Saturday night, despite what turned out to be a life-threatening emergency. 

Out of desperation, I called the only other doctor I could think of-- who was Dr. Strawn. His assistant answered the phone promptly and Dr. Strawn returned my call within 5 minutes that very night. With urgency in his voice, he insisted that I go to the emergency room ASAP and he would meet me there. That night, the emergency room doctors said that sepsis had enraged my system to the point that I would have been dead within the hour. Dr. Strawn was there from that moment, by my side, and every other moment from that night on. Dr. Strawn never gave up on me and FAR SURPASSED his role as an amazing board certified plastic surgeon. No matter how scared and afraid I was, he always had a smile on his face and expressed kind words of comfort. 

Why am I just now posting these praises? Because I recently became a Grandmother and would have never seen my new grandson's big, beautiful, brown eyes if Dr. Strawn had not been there to pick up the pieces that the breast cancer surgeon left behind. Words can not express how very thankful I am that he saved my life that night.

I wish I could rate Dr. Strawn a 10! I had explant and lift performed my Dr. Strawn in October 2018. I was very sick and had gone to multiple consults and didn't feel comfortable until I met this man. I just went back 2 weeks ago and had fat grafting done. My results are better than I could have ever imagined. I have so much more confidence now than I had with implants. He's truly a breast reconstruction artist. Dr. Strawn performs his procedures at HOAG hospital which is across the street from his office. That also was a 10 star experience. I have seen results on other women who went to other surgeons in the area and it just makes me so thankful I chose Dr. Strawn. I love the way I look and feel now. He is the best for this type of surgery! I couldn't recommend him more!

For years, I struggled with strange unexplained symptoms that all came on suddenly after my breast implant surgery. After years of extensive testing and no answers why my health was declining, I came across an article about Breast Implant Illness. The more I researched the more I felt like my implants were to blame and I knew I had to get them out ASAP. It was extremely difficult trying to find a surgeon in the Southern California Area that was willing to do an enbloc procedure, which is the preferred method. I had several consultations before I met Dr. Strawn and all of the previous surgeons had told me that my capsule felt too thin to be able to achieve an enbloc removal. Dr. Strawn was the first surgeon who was confident in his skills and assured me that he would be able to perform an enbloc procedure. I could not be more thankful and grateful that I chose him as my surgeon. Having very little natural breast tissue, I was afraid I would be left deformed with indentations and adhesion issues like so many of the other women in my same situation. Luckily I didn't experience any of this, and he even spent extra time repairing a damaged muscle, so that I wouldn't have any issues weight training in the future. Today, I'm back at the gym setting new personal records, and I know my great results were all thanks to Dr. Strawn and his surgical skills.

I am 1 month post op from a pretty heavy surgery. I explanted with full enbloc capsulectomy, muscle repair, lift, and fat transfer. I am beyond pleased with my results physically, but more importantly I was blown away by his his compassion and bed side manner. He is the nicest doctor, and his right hand woman Sheena is absolutely amazing. They are patient, caring, and concerned for all of their clients and their wellbeing. I could not imagine having gone through this experience with anyone else. I am forever grateful to have found them and so happy with everything.
