I'm aware that I should be avoiding salt to minimize swelling, but I'd love suggestions on what is easiest and most helpful to stock up on for the first few days post op. I don't know how tender the inside of my cheeks/mouth will be. Thanks!

It is normal and expected to see some swelling on day 2 - its usually worst than on day 1. I usually like to have my patients wear a compressive garment as well as ice for the first three days to minimize the swelling. That being said, buccal space infections can be quite dangerous. ...
