What would be the highest BMI acceptable for the Brazilian Butt Lift with lipo?

We like patients to be close to their ideal weight, but the truth is that most patients coming for plastic surgery are above this.  Safety for surgery is an individualized answer depending on overall health status of the individual.  I recommend a full consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to take a look at the whole picture.

BMI is but one measure.  Distribution of fat and overall health as well as goals all factor into this decision.  I
would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is
most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of

The perfect and safe BMI for a bbl is 29-31. You will have fat enough to transfer in order to achieve a great result. Be encouraged. Dr. Cardenas 

You should target reducing your BMI to less than 30 to reduce your surgical complication risk.You will likely still have enough to transfer.
