One of the benefits of fat transfer operations is that it will forever alter the distribution of fat in a favorable way. Iwould search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel ismost likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds ofthese procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well asbefore and after photos on that surgeon's website.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
If you gain weight after surgery, you will accumulate fat intra-abdominally around your organs, and in the remaining fat cells under your skin. You will have fewer fat cells in the areas you had liposuction, but the remaining cells can still grow and accumulate fat. It is recommended that after body contouring surgery that you maintain your result with diet and exercise. Significant weight gain negatively affects your body shape whether you have had surgery or not. Hope this helps.
Thanks for your question. It is recommended to maintain a stable weight after surgery. However, if you do gain weight, it will distribute to every part of the body (including the areas where surgery was performed).
If you gain weight after any type of surgery, the fat cells everywhere on your body can increase in size. That includes areas where you had liposuction and places where you did not have liposuction. It also depends on how much weight you gain. My advice is to not gain weight after a tummy tuck and fat transfer to the buttock if you want to maintain your contour.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. After liposuction, the areas treated are not likely to regain fatty fullness, as many fat cells have been removed. These areas have reduced fat storage capacity. However, if weight gain occurs, the fat will be mostly stored in areas that have not been liposuctioned. It's hard to know for sure how weight gain will affect your body , this is why you should try to eat healthy and exercise on a regular basis, so you can maintain the results long term.Hope this helps. Good luck :)

Burns from compression garments would be extremely unusual, but they can occur. I have not seen a burn from aggressive liposuction. The burns are usually caused by a heat source, which is why I do not use laser and other heat generating sources. I would search for the board...
With Brazilian butt lift we transfer fat from one area of the body to the other. These fat cells are transferred in microinjections throughout multiple planes in the buttock tissue so that they can gain new blood supply and live in their new home, providing increased volume and shape to the...
I do not use drains, because I have not noticed a reduction in fluid collections with their use. I would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of these procedures each year. I would look at patient...
You will need to get cardiac clearance prior to undergoing the procedure. I would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of these procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well...
