I would not select a surgeon based upon price. You do not want to have revisions and complications. I
would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is
most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of
these procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well as

It will be very unlikely that an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon will perform a Brazilian butt lift for less that $7000, it is a very time consuming and specialized procedure when done correctly.  That's already a very low price for the Los Angeles area, but some areas are less expensive. I caution you against using price as the way of choosing your surgeon.  The least expensive surgery is one that is done correctly the first time. Going cheap on your first surgery may cost you more in the long run when a revision by an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in gluteal augmentation has to fix it.  Look at your surgeon's before and after photos before you make decision. Most plastic surgeons with many years of experience will charge in the $7,000 range or more for a Brazilian butt lift. It's risky to do plastic surgery with a surgeon who charges less than that amount.

In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.
When choosing a plastic surgeon, the most important thing to consider is that he or she is board certified, the experience with the procedure you are interested in and that you feel comfortable in his/her hands.

Overseas options can actually be less expensive.  Even after adding the cost of flying and recovery stay you can get great results out of the United Sates.Best wishes
