Lumpy neck 4 weeks post-op lipo and neck lift, is this a concern? (Photos)

Question

I am 4 weeks neck lift and lipo post-op. I have had a lump under chin for a few weeks. My PS advise me to apply hard massage to the area 3 times a day he said it’s scar tissue. I have done this and it’s Made no difference yet. Also some swelling along the jawline on one side. The swellings are not hot orRed. I’m going back in 3 weeks to see my PS. I’m just worried. Is this usual and if it will settle down with time. Any advise is appreciated.

At this point you need to give the area much more time to heal..and we’re talking months not several weeks. Try to be patient and follow with your surgeon.

right now you should be doing massage, LED threapy, and RF treatments.
