I had a revision labiaplasty surgery to take away a section of darker colored, fatty labia tissue at the bottom of my labia minora where they join. This section was missed during the first surgery with a different surgeon. It has been THREE WEEKS since my surgery and the section that he cut and stitched (with dissolvable stitches) is very firm and lumpy. He says the lumps will go down... but I'm very concerned it is permanent scar tissue. Any comments? Will these lumps go away?

Hi, this is a great question. Itching is good and normal to have after this procedure. More than likely it is from the dissolvable stitches. Schedule a followup with your doctor to make sure you are healing properly. Best of luck!
