I’m 2.5 weeks post op from Facetite and chin lipo. I have large hard bumps under my neck. Is this normal and likely to resolve? It kind of looks like I have major swollen lymph nodes.

Answer: Are these lumps after FaceTite and chin lipo likely to resolve? Developing some lumps after a procedure such as FaceTite is normal this early on. I recommend to my patients that they start massage to the area as early as 3 days post op after FaceTite. These lumps typically fully resolve with time. Make sure you follow up with your surgeon.

I typically have my FaceTite patients start lymphatic drainage and massage treatments at about 3 weeks after the procedure. It’s best to ask your surgeon about your healing and what can be done at this stage to help things along.
