I am 65 and had Face Tite and liposuction under my chin 2 weeks ago. Are the folds permanent?

I have developed vertical folds under my chin. I contacted my surgeon about this and he said to aggressively massage the area and wear my compression garment more. I have been doing this for the past week and have not seen an improvement. I know I am still swollen. In the accompanying photos, my neck is not hyper extended; it is the position of the camera. Will these folds go away eventually or are they permanent?

After performing this procedure on a daily basis I can advise you that you will need 7 days off. Bruising may not be so marked but you will definitely have swelling. My patients always wear a facial mask for a week minimum post surgery. Especially if you are going to pair this with liposuction...

Hello. After years of performing this procedure I have noticed a great variance in the recovery post Facetite. Swelling can last up to 6 months. This is why I always pair the treatment with radio frequency assisted lymphatic drainage after the procedure which should always come with your package...
