I'm considering Facetite, combined with Fractora, primarily to tighten my neck and throat areas. However I'm concerned about potential fat or volume loss, as I'm already thin. I'm open to other treatments/modalities/opinions, but don't feel ready for a neck or face lift (or similarly more invasive surgical procedure). I'm in my late 40s; I believe the laxity I've developed over the past few years is both hereditary and the unfortunate result of long-ago weight loss.

Answer: Fsce/neck lift alternatives Facetite and Fractora should not cause fat atrophy unless it is combined with liposuction. They are radio frequency based treatments used to tighten skin . An alternative option to consider would be Renuvion ( aka J plasma ) which uses both radiofrequency and helium plasma energy . This plasma energy allows higher heating temperatures (85 C versus 65C) for milliseconds at the subdermal level and more precise location to avoid any potential skin injury which causes a higher degree of skin tightening then radiofrequency alone. Thermitight is another possible alternative which is radiofrequency alone. There are no directly comparison studies that I’m aware of that compare both modalities , but clinically I have used both radiofrequency & plasma energy and the plasma wins hands down
