One year post op - Is this much lumpiness normal for liposuction? Can it be fixed? (Photos)

I had a fat transfer a year ago in which the lower legs were used as the donor site. One leg is fine, but the other has several areas where too much fat has been removed (in my opinion). This dents are very obvious to the touch but do not show up as well on camera. My surgeon considers my result successful, and I would like to know how much lumpiness is normal. Was it just just unrealistic of me to expect a smooth finish, or is it a lack of skill on my surgeon's part?
