Dents and small pockets of fat, is revision lipo needed? (Photos)

Question

Hello! December 2024 I had liposuction on my inner and outer thighs with a fat transfer to my hip dips. I went through air sculpt, an awake liposuction, in case that makes any difference. I’ve noticed irregularities on both my inner and outer thigh and was wondering if I needed a second round of liposuction. Theres bulging and dents on my outer thighs as well as small pockets of fat that look like they could still be removed. There’s also a big dent on my hip where he placed the fat transfer. My inner thighs have indentations on them as well. And it almost looks as if the fat was pushed towards the back of my inner thighs. Does this look like a case where I would need to have a revision Lipo or what would be my other options? Please and thank you.

A revision lipo under local where the doc can stand you up and fine tune the results is the only way to get lipo done for quality results.  You would do great with that and be sure to get quantum and morpheus at the same time for best results. Cost is roughly $10,000 and so worth it.

Based on your series of excellently posted photos, I would recommend a virtual consultation to get more accurate details. But revision Lipo with spot fat grafting may be indicated with the understanding this may take more than one procedure to obtain appropriate results. Expect fees per procedure in the $5000 range. In addition, there is a new FDA approved fat injection, ALLOCLAE, That though expensive could give results without having additional surgery. In addition to those injections might do spot Lipo under local anesthesia. Again, best of virtual concert with.

Lower extremity Liposuction is technically difficult. Your best shot at getting a quality outcome. It comes from the first procedure.
If the first procedure wasn’t done well, the chance of having a high quality result goes down from there.
Revision surgery may potentially improve things, but considering your surgeon made things worse in the hands of the same provider things could get even worse from a revision procedure.
Revision surgery is many times more difficult than primary procedures.
The goal is always to find the right provider, which is much more difficult than most people realize.
I would be cautious about having the same provider revise your outcome since it didn’t turn out to your satisfaction, the first time around.
The more fat that’s removed the less tissue there is to work with and eventually revisions to become pointless.
I’m usually very careful about removing fat in the banana roll or under the buttocks in the posterior thigh.
This area typically does not respond well to Liposuction.
You may want to consider getting a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
Your Clinic should forward those if you ask for them.
