How long until I see results from facial fat grafting?

in Korea 10 days ago on my forehead,cheek and malar. Unfortunately the result is not satisfied as it doesn't look symmetrically on my cheek and I feel many lumps on my face.And my face is still feeling very very "tight" and my whole face is shining like applying a wax on it. I'm so depress. Can any doctor advise me on what's actually happening and how long will it take to see the final results if this happen because of its still swollen?

Fat grafting to the face will restore and rejuvenate the face. Like any fat grafting or surgery, it will need time to heal. Initially there is lots of swelling, some of the fat will absorb, and the final results will be seen in 12 weeks.Samir Shureih MD. FACSsshureih@msn.com

In my hands, I have found fat transfer to be a very gratifying alternative to facelifts.  My patients are thrilled with their results, and avoid highly invasive procedures with prolonged downtime such as a facelift.  I am not sure how far out you are from your fat grafting procedure, but please allow 4 - 8 weeks for swelling to subside, and allow 3 months to see end result.  Also, try sleeping face up!
